The story of a photographer

I remember having a multitude of photos taken of me as a child. My mother would dress me up in what I thought were silly outfits and my Pepaw (grandfather) would take effortless photos. It was not until I was around 5 years old that I began staging photos of my great-grandparents with a disposable camera. This was when a small fire inside me started. I took photos of everything.... family, flowers, myself- BEFORE selfies were ever a thing!

The start of my seriousness began in high school where I was lucky enough to attend a school that offered an extensive photography program. This program consisted of digital shooting, editing, film shooting, film development, and printing. At that same time, my before-mentioned grandfather passed away and I was gifted his old film cameras.

Since then, I only did photography for fun, or if friends asked me to take some shots of them. Now, I feel strongly in the talent I offer to my clients. You see, anybody can buy a nice camera and dub themselves a photographer. For some, including myself, I take it personal. Each session is an opportunity that I take pride in. I love seeing others view the photos I take with awe, in a way they may have never seen themselves.

Should you choose to book with me, know it will be a great honor for me to take part in whatever your special moment is.

With Love,

Nicole
